Initially established as Woden-Weston Football Club (17 Nov 2014), West Canberra Wanderers Football Club (WCW) is the pre-eminent NPL focused club in southern and western Canberra. WCW, or colloquially known as Wanderers, fields teams in all four divisions of the NPL: Senior Men, Senior Women, Junior Boys and Junior Girls. Wanderers provides a pathway for talented players of the region to participate in the ‘best of the best’ pillar of football.

Wanderers Cup

The Wanderer's Cup is the biggest pre-season tournament in Canberra and the best way to fine-tune your team before the season starts. Even better it is the largest SAP tournament in the entire region!!

NPL & Pathway

The focus of the NPL program is to transfer players from train to train to an introduction on train to win.

The Pathway program aims to identify and select players for our Pathways teams (U10-13). This program partly runs in conjunction with the Community program. The focus of this program is train to train.

Wanderers Academy

Through our year round Wanderers Academy we deliver an initial Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) for junior players (U9-U12) of all abilities. This program aims to increase the skills and enjoyment of participating players.
